It was essential in providing easy movement between levels of our rehabilitation centre, right from the start of planning the Platform Lift Company provided ideas and suggestions. Our community got together to reconstruct our much loved but redundant village Signal Box, so that we could use it as a community museum and meeting place. Access to the upper floor for the less mobile of us to see the trains and join in the activities was an essential part of this slightly unusual project, but our space and our budget were both (to say the least) limited!
