City of Winchester Museum receives an upgrade
In this City Museum, three galleries tell the story of Winchester's past from its origins as a prehistoric trading centre and Roman regional capital, pre-eminence as a principal city in the Anglo-Norman kingdom, development and decline in the middle ages, through to modern times. Features include mosaics and reconstructed 19th and 20th century Victorian High Street shops.
It was our good reputation that led Winchester City Council to request we replace the lift at the Winchester Museum, which was badly in need of an upgrade. We supplied and installed a lift compliant with disabled access needs, allowing disabled customers access to all three floors of the museum, so they can continue to enjoy the full history and galleries the museum has to offer.
