Requirement
The Hilton London Metropole, wanted to provide independent access, to the new Oriental bar and restaurant located on the top floor.
Solution
The Vertical platform lift was specified for the hotel. This access solution is designed to be free standing and comes with its own one-hour, fire rated shaft and battery back up of emergency power, which is ideal for the hospitality environment.
Benefits
The new Oriental bar and restaurant now has fully independent access and complies with DDA standards and the Machinery Directive.
The Platform Lift Company has installed access lifts for the Hilton group at over ten sites, including hotels in Southampton, Glasgow, Swindon and Watford. The Platform Lift Company is being commissioned to supply lifts to all Hilton hotels, amounting to approximately 48 sites.
