Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Platform Lift Engineer to join our growing team. Based in Andover, this role involves working across sites throughout the UK, with occasional overnight stays (not regularly required).
This is a varied and hands-on position within a dynamic environment, covering installations, servicing, maintenance, and repairs. You will also play a key role in supporting quality standards within the business and mentoring our in-house apprentice.
The ideal applicant will possess strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Duties
- Installation of platform lifts across client sites
- Carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance
- Diagnosing faults and ensuring prompt resolution
- Conducting audits to maintain high standards and compliance
- Supporting and mentoring our in-house apprentice
- Building strong working relationships with subcontractors and colleagues to support site works and resolve technical issues
- Delivering excellent customer service on-site
Skills
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift & Escalator (essential)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong technical knowledge across installation, servicing, and repairs
- Ability to take ownership of work with a can do attitude
