Disabled Access for Leading Retail Store

Requirement:

Due to the change to DDA standards, leading retail store, Monsoon Accessorize, launched a disabled access project for ten of its retail stores that were being refurbished.

The retail stores were a mixture of listed buildings and non-listed buildings. The platform lifts needed to be in compliance with architectural restrictions, as well as being in keeping with the contemporary design of each individual store.

Solution:

The Platform Lift Company decided to install its DDA-compliant, Internal Vertical platform lift. This is designed to be free standing and is perfect for listed buildings with architectural restrictions, as it does not affect the structure or supports of the building.
