Corporate Branded DDA Lifts for Casino

Requirement:

The Casino at the Empire London needed to install DDA compliant lifts to enable customers to freely access both levels and facilities. The casino specified that the disability lifts had to be branded, and aesthetically pleasing to complement the retro décor, designed by a top casino interior designer.

Solution:

The Platform Lift Company suggested a cost-effective, ergonomic, DDA access solution. The free-standing vertical platform lift comes with its own glazed or one-hour rated shaft and eliminates the need for extensive building work. For design continuity, bespoke glass-fronted doors were created, featuring The Casino at The Empire’s corporate brand.

The glass-fronted platform lifts created a light and non-claustrophobic atmosphere for its users. Their contemporary design blended seamlessly with the stylish retro furnishing, without appearing obtrusive.

The Casino at The Empire now features four platform lifts and an independent step lift which has achieved access for all.
